Dragon Bonus Baccarat

Show

One of the simplest card games currently available, baccarat is quite popular, especially with players who love casino games online thanks to its simple rules and easy gameplay. Dragon Bonus Baccarat is a new version of baccarat where the game is as simple as the original but is made more exciting with the addition of the extended paytable.

Playing the game

Playing Dragon Bonus Baccarat is in no way different from playing baccarat in its original form. The game is played with 8 decks and the game starts with the player choosing a bet. Players have three options to choose from; players bet, bankers bet and a tie. Choosing a particular option depends on who the player thinks will win. Hence, one can either bet that the player wins or the banker hand wins or that they have a tie or an equal score.

The score or the value of a hand depends on the cards held. Every card has a specific value and score is the total value of the hand. The total value of any hand in baccarat cannot be more than 9 and the hand that has a score nearest to 9 wins. And players who are able to guess who might win correctly (in the beginning, while making a bet) win.

How is Dragon Bonus Baccarat different?

The entire gameplay of Dragon Bonus Baccarat is the same as the original version. The difference is when the player manages to make the right bet and gets to the payout part. Where the paytable of the original version of the game is simple (1:1 for a winning bet and 5% commission in case the player opts for bankers bet and wins) the dragon bonus comes with an extended paytable.

How the extended paytable works are, in case of all non-natural wins the payout depends on the winning margin, which is the difference between the winning hand and the losing hand. The detailed paytable generally available is as follows:

-  If the score is 8 or 9 payout is 1 to 1

-  In case the win margin is less than or equal to 3 the bet is lost

-  In case the win margin is 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 the payout available is 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, 6:1, 10:1 and 30:1

Conclusion

Thus, looking at the extended paytable, it is obvious that if a player opts for the Dragon Bonus Baccarat version and wins, the payout depends on not just correctly guessing which hand wins but the winnings increase as the winning margin increases making the game more lucrative and thus more exciting.
